A quick tip
If you are a proud owner of an eyehome and an HDTV, configure your eyehome for 720p, even if your set is capable of 1080i.
The difference is astounding, especially when watching avi files of your favorite shows… looks like it is coming in over the wire.

I’ve always preferred 720p over 1080i. Heck, most HDTVs don’t even have 1080 lines, even if they support the input format.
But even on a set that can really show 1080i, you’re only getting 540 lines per unit time as compared to 720.
