Yes folks, if you use my notepad plugin there is a reason to rejoice.
I have been prepping this plugin for release for the past 3 weeks. There is some code cleanup, but most notably I have added note integration on the Write Posts page. Below the image uploader you should now see a ‘Notes’ area. If you click the ‘Use for this post’ text some javascriptiness will add the text of that note to the edit area. It should work when using the Rich Text Editor, and when not.

Any chance you can make this work with WP2.1 Alpha 3? When I click “Create New Note” I get:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class cjd_notepad in F:\Tom\My Webs\wp21\wp-content\plugins\notepad\cjd_notepad.php on line 19
Thanks if you can help and thanks for a great plugin.
Hey Tom,
It isn’t my policy to support software that is in the alpha stage, even WordPress.
That being said, I will download the alpha and see if it is a small fix.
Hi Chris - thanks for the quick reply… please ignore my previous comment (I should have checked first) - it’s not a problem with WP2.1 - it’s because I’m testing with XAMPP on windows. Sorry for the hassle - feel free to delete these comments.
Thanks again for the plugin
Tom
Great change. I can now see my notes below the image uploader. What I don’t see is text that says “Use this for post”. All I see that is clickable is “delete”. Otherwise, like I said before, it is a great change.
