Please, in the name of all that is holy will someone compete with TiVo!?
I just got off the phone with them and they aren’t planning on releasing an HD version of their product until October! I am just flabbergasted. Would someone light a fire under these people? Please?

I know my cable provider (Roadrunner) offers their own DVR service for a monthly fee of $10. I believe they also offer a HD option. You could always build your own or buy some monster PVR/gaming rig from Alienware.
If you ask me, I’m waiting for someone to crack EFI to run Windows on a new Intel Mini, then I’ll buy a mini or someother Intel Mac for windows games and maybe PVR software, but use it as a lovable and huggable Mac otherwise.
