It is not that often that you are able to have a pleasant conversation online. Add in that you are trying to offer support and help, and it gets even unlikelier. When you add in the whole “internet celebrity” angle and well as my redneck step-father would say “kadie-bar the door”
The thing is, that now on no less than three separate occasions I have had wonderful conversation with Molly E. Holzschlag.
If you have been living under a very large rock for the last few years, Molly is one of the driving forces behind WaSP, which if she did nothing else would cement her place in Web Design and Accesability History, but no! Molly is also the author of numerous books and articles.
Seriously man, what is up with that yo? Bottom line, right place, right time. She needed help with her WordPress install and you know that is my thing, so I offered my help. Thankfully I was able to help her, but during the process conversation would just break out, I mean some times the IM session was just lousy with meaningful, insightful conversation. Yeah I know what you are thinking, and you would be right.. I didn’t talk much, I just listened.. or read. You know what I mean!
All this to say that it is refreshing to meet someone and find out that yes, they are that cool. Not only is she gracious, she makes with the linkage! So I thought I would return the gesture by pointing any of my readers to her, she is way more worth your time than I am, so go and learn yerself something!

yeah, molly’s a top lady. she got in touch with me out of the blue to get her site redesigned, and i had a very similar “oh, but she’s a web celebrity” type moment.
Isn’t it wonderful when people are kind and enjoyable and polite? If only it were the norm…:(
Skippy,
My best guess is that the kses file that shipped with 1.2 had been corrupted somehow, or could not handle an encoding that was being thrown at it.
The error started there and caused PHP to crash. When we installed 1.5 and upgraded her DB the problem went away. *shrugs*
Molly,
No thanks needed, it is the truth as anyone who has had any dealings with you can attest.
Patrick,
Very cool, nice site by the way, I like the minimal feel you are working.
