StarCraft II

Dear God in heaven, they are finally releasing it.

My first thought: Meh… just a pumped out graphic and no new features (at least if compared to today’s RTS)

Hmmm, that is an interesting point, since the first StarCraft is arguably the most beloved RTS ever made. I still find the story and game play more compelling than some of the newer games in the genre.

I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what SC II looks and plays like when it launches.

Confession time. I never played the original, not once. I watched other people play it, wanting to give it a try, but years have past and I just never got around to it.

I could now but there’s just so much else to tinker with. Yet, for some reason I’m pretty excited about SC II, maybe because it’ll give me the chance to check out the game play wrapped in a new package.

Oh. I dig this design, a lot. :)

    Hey kartooner,

Confession time. I never played the original, not once. I watched other people play it, wanting to give it a try, but years have past and I just never got around to it.

You sir, should be ashamed of yourself. There is no excuse for this. Seriously though I am going to play through StarCraft and Broodwar again in anticipation for this releas, so it can all be fresh in my mind.

Oh. I dig this design, a lot. :)

Thanks man, I do as well.

    Brett,

I’m a huge Starcraft fan so I can’t wait! Its been a long time coming IMO! :)
