New Book: Conversations
So I have finally gotten around to producing the book I had blogged about before, you know the one that is a conversation between two versions of myself across the gulf of time. I am getting pretty excited about it now that I am working on it, but I am having trouble coming up with a good way to present the material.
The simple things in life
Today is our office Christmas party, held at Joseph-Beth Booksellers. One of my favorite things to do when I go into a bookshop is to head for the tech section and see if they carry my book.
JB is very good about getting books signed by the author, and each time I go in it seems like they have a new copy of the book, and weeeee! I get to sign it. Today was no exception.
There is something wonderful about going into a book store and seeing your name on the shelf; there is something magical about sitting down at a table and signing a copy of your book. I highly encourage it.
Oh and I got a book, an "I see dumb people” coffee mug, and an “Optimash Prime” Mr. Potato Head! Optimash Prime joins Darth Tater as guardians of my cubicle. A solemn responsibility.
