Back to the grind
Well my wife and I have returned from Indiana, and the laying to rest the body of Tony Benson. This ordeal has taught my family and myself I must admit, much about the strength of character, and will that some of us in the body posess.
I witnessed the grieving of multitudes, and the comfort and strength of a few. One of these few was Angie Benson, Tony's mother.
You would assume in a time like this, even though their faith is strong, a mother would be devistated to outlive her child. But not Angie, we all rushed home from the four corners to comfort her, and she spent the entire time consoling everyone else. She realized that one indisputable truth; Tony isn't gone. He enjoys the repose and rest of the saints, and the peace that only unfettered communion with the Father can bring.
In completely unrelated and foreign news to what was just posted, it seems that the force of nature that is Kevin Basil has stepped up and accepted the challenge of National Novel Writing Month.
His novel entitled Turk Medeira and the Prime of His Life should be intersting in a rather Kevinish way.
My novel entitled Daeon has yet to begin, I just didn't feel that writing would be warranted this past week, so I begin this evening.
Here is to the Great American Novel, and the drivel that 10,000 of us will be writing this November.
