Bah! Stupid Programmers!
I just opened the Saturday night build of Chimera to see how things were going on its development, and was startled to see that the programmers on the project have totally revamped the workings of the U_I, and not for the better I might add. They have gone away from using native widgetry, and are using far too many custon classes and fields. Not only is this less efficient and contrary to the spirit of the project, it nullifies the use of my hack to the U_I, so that anyone who is wanting to run Chimera with my Chrome U_I hack, has to run an older build.
I wonder if that was thier intent to begin with. I don't know, and don't care since the moment my DSL is active I will be continuing work on iBrowse.
So for any of you who want to continue using the nightlies, but have a more 10.2ish feel I will be providing a .nib file that enables all the U_I elements of iBrowse without the chrome look, which is broken for now.
