Respect, Honor, and Valour.

My wife Heather and I, as well as one of my best friends Basil gathered this evening around that magical box in our living room, you know the one that sucks away your creativity and capacity for rational thought. Oh yeah, you call it a T.V.

To my suprise, nay delight, the moving pictures accompanied by sounds was not only good, but excellent and awe inspiring. I am of course referring to the critically acclaimed cinematic feature, Black Hawk Down. I am not one who usually goes for the war movie, unless it is set in a more civilized time, where men bludgoned themsleves to death with sometimes blunt, sometimes sharp objects.

But I must confess that the recounting of those events, the loss and the Heroism got even to me. If you had no admiration or respect for the men and women who risk thier lives everyday in the name of freedom, after watching this movie you should.
